The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia held its 28th Annual Solomon and Sylvia Bronstein Seminar for Professionals on September 8 at Hilton Philadelphia City Ave.

For nearly three decades, the Bronstein Seminar has been a permanent fixture on the calendars of estate planning professionals in our community,” said Kim Heyman, Chair of the Bronstein Seminar Planning Committee. “It is a wonderful opportunity for people from different advisory fields and practices to gather locally to catch up with old friends, meet new colleagues and learn from a leading national expert.”

This year, featured speaker and industry expert Amy Kanyuk, Esquire, founding member of McDonald & Kanyuk, PLLC, presented “Choosing a Jurisdiction for a New Long-Term Trust.”

During the event, Andrew A. Goldman, CLU, ChFC, Co-Founder of RubinGoldman & Associates, received the Edward N. Polisher Award in recognition of his outstanding service to the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia’s endowment programs. The award is named in memory of Ed Polisher, who served as an example and inspiration to estate planners through his personal integrity, leadership and service to the Jewish community.

Attendees enjoyed breakfast and networking opportunities.
