Women's Philanthropy held its annual Lion of Judah event on November 10 at Hotel West & Main in the heart of Conshohocken. Over 100 people attended the evening, which honored the deep commitment and generosity of the Jewish Federation’s Lion of Judah donors.
Co-chaired by Julie Gubernick and Jayne Perilstein, the event featured Tara Schuster, former vice president of talent and development at Comedy Central, best-selling author and accomplished entertainment executive.

Tara Schuster, keynote speaker and bestselling author of "Buy Yourself The F*cking Lilies" gave an inspiring speech about her journey towards finding herself and how self-care and Judaism played a huge role.
Amanda Prine explained the importance of ensuring Jewish continuity through a Lion of Judah Endowment (LOJE) gift.
(L to R)Among the attendees were Inga Khaitman and her mother Eva Khaitman. A Holocaust survivor as well as a volunteer and client of the Mitzvah Food Program, Eva thanked the Lions of Judah for their generosity and support of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia.
Women's Philanthropy Chair Tracy Gordon thanked the attendees and spoke about the impactful work of the group and of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia.
