The GA conference – the annual meeting of the leaders of the Jewish communities of North America – will begin tomorrow (Monday) in Tel Aviv. There will be Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu; President Reuven Rivlin; Chairman of the Jewish Agency Yitzhak Herzog, Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein and many other senior officials.

The headline, “We Must Speak,” attests to the crisis and the need to see in the Diaspora and in Israel its solution. “Israel is a holy homeland for all Jews,” declares Arik Goldstein, head of the New York Federation, in an interview with Ynet. “I think that any statement or policy that erodes this statement harms the connection between American Jews and Israel.”
