Hidden: Holocaust Survivor Ruth Hartz Shares Her Story

Holocaust survivor, Ruth Hartz, will speak about being a hidden child in France. As it was dangerous for Ruth to use her real name, her family changed her name to “Renee.” Ruth learned at a young age how to lie about her identity so she would be safe. Her family fled from one place to another and were forced to separate, sending Ruth to an orphanage. Ruth did not know during the war what happened to her family until she was liberated. A musical called Hidden was written about her life. Also welcoming co-producers David & Jenny Heitler-Klevans and cast members to perform some excerpts from the musical Hidden, based on the true story of Ruth Kapp Hartz. To register, click here.
