The Festival of Lights, beginning the evening of Sunday, December 18, is being celebrated across Central Montgomery County — including the Townships of Whitpain, Whitemarsh, Upper Dublin, Lower Gwynedd, Horsham and the town of Ambler — with the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia’s [Buxmont Kehillah](https://jewishphilly.org/get-involved/neighborhood-programming/bux-mont/) and partnering organizations.   “The Buxmont Jewish community is pulling out all of the stops for this Hanukkah season,” said the Jewish Federation’s Community Engagement Specialist Nomi Shapiro. “Our community is vibrant with diverse Jewish life. The Buxmont Kehillah as well as our partner organizations have an incredible lineup of opportunities for individuals, couples and families to get into the Hanukkah spirit.”   All are invited to join the below candle lightings, concerts, Hanukkah Shabbat dinners and more to connect with loved ones and neighbors.    **Music & Menorahs for Young Families ** Tuesday, December 13 | 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Congregation Beth Or invites young families to a concert and fun Hanukkah activities.
