Chanukah Candle Lighting

Ambler Church of the Brethren
Join the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia's Jewish Community Relations Council, the Buxmont Kehillah and the Wissahickon interfaith community at the Ambler Church of the Brethren for a candle lighting in solidarity with the Jewish community. This free program will feature remarks from different faiths, songs, and of course, a Hannukah candle lighting.
Bringing Light to Shadow: Lone Soldiers During War

Join the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, Temple Sinai and the Buxmont Kehillah for a unique Chanukah awareness event. Hear from a lone soldier about their experience and how the Lone Soldier Center in Memory of Michael Levin provides a home away from home. A selection of songs will be performed by Yair Nitzani, an Israeli musician, TV host, and journalist, who will also speak about his experience adopting an Israeli lone soldier. Rally Against Antisemitism

All faith groups are invited to join together to light up the darkness by standing against hate and standing with Israel and for humanity this Sunday. Coinciding with the fourth night of Chanukah, this is a demonstration of shared values and strength to show that the power of unity and peace will always triumph against antisemitism, hatred, and terror.
