The upcoming weeks are full of Chanukah celebrations, both in Buxmont and around Greater Philadelphia — be sure to save the date!

Nightly Candle Lighting 
Wednesday, Dec. 25 – Wednesday, Jan. 1 | 5:30 p.m.
Miles Park

Join Congregation Or Ami for nightly candle lighting, songs and good cheer. Bring friends, family, neighbors, children and pets. For questions, call 610.828.9066

 

Chanukah in Conshohocken 
Thursday, Dec. 26 | 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Chabad of Lafayette Hill

Join the Chabad of Lafayette Hill for a grand menorah lighting, a gelt drop from the top of a fire truck, latkes, hot drinks and more! To learn more, click here

 

Lansdale Menorah Lighting
Thursday, Dec. 26 | 6 - 8 p.m.
Railroad Plaza Lansdale 

This celebration for all ages will include a performance of festive music by the Horns of Hanukkah, latkes, doughnuts, hot chocolate, crafts and more! Join Temple Sinai ECEC for an amazing Chanukah inflatables photo booth, and take home your own dreidel and gelt courtesy of Congregation Beth Or! Shady Brook Farm

NextGen’s Signature Event

Light up your Chanukah with a night of mingling, connection and celebration! Dress to impress and join the Jewish Federation’s NextGen group for an unforgettable evening with other young adults in their 20s, 30s and early 40s. To register, click here

Being ___ at Christmas 2024
Wednesday, Dec. 25 | 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History

Join for a day of family fun, Being ____ at Christmas. Let’s get groovy, crafty and jolly! From top to bottom, the Museum will be jam-packed with performances and activities for members and visitors of all ages. Don’t miss make-and-take crafts, including winter-themed foam sticker picture frames, paper lanterns, paper crowns, and coloring sheets; story time; and a sensory-friendly play zone with a foam floor, blocks, and puzzles. The fun doesn’t stop there: enjoy classic winter movies throughout the day in the Dell Theater, and explore the Museum’s core exhibition, checking out all of the excitement across five floors. Center City Chanukah Celebration
Thursday, Dec. 26 | 5 - 6 p.m.
Rittenhouse Square Park

Celebrate the second night of Chanukah in the heart of the City of Brotherly Love. All ages are invited to join the Center City Kehillah and local Jewish institutions for an evening of music, prayer ceremony, candle lighting and sufganiyot (jelly donuts). To register, click here.
