Award-winning journalist and author Yardena Schwartz will discuss her new book, Ghosts of a Holy War, with the President of Gratz College, Zev Eleff. Fred Behrend and Larry Hanover will speak about the book and documentary, "Rebuilt from Broken Glass: A German Jewish Life Remade in America." Fred Behrend witnessed the flames of Kristallnacht in 1938 at age 12, seeing synagogue after synagogue on fire, and was soon fleeing Nazi tyranny.
