Lansdale Menorah Lighting
Sunday, Dec. 14 | 6 p.m.
Railroad Plaza

Celebrate the first night of Chanukah with the Lansdale Menorah Lighting. The event features the Horns of Chanukah performing traditional Chanukah music on the French horn. During the performance, activities will take place in the event space, followed by the candle lighting at about 6:30 p.m. To register, click here.  

 

Scholar-in-Residence Weekend with NFL Journalist & Author, Jori Epstein
Friday, Dec. 5 from 7:30-9:30 p.m. and Saturday 6 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

The Essence: A Yiddish Theatre Dim Sum

Witty, fast-paced, and unapologetically irreverent, The Essence: A Yiddish Theatre Dim Sum is a genre-bending theatrical revue that delivers a crash course in Yiddish stage history — with zero nostalgia and maximum laughs. Created by and starring Allen Lewis Rickman and Yelena Shmulenson, with live musical accompaniment by Steve Sterner, this 83-minute performance distills 150 years of Yiddish theatre into a whirlwind of sharp sketches, cheeky songs, and lovingly crafted satire. Israeli Culture and Arts Night

Just Talk About It is a 90-minute program that opens with a Minding Your Mind clinical facilitator discussing the signs and symptoms of the mental health issues most prevalent in adolescents through young adulthood, and how to know the difference from typical teenage behavior. The young adult speaker adds a real-life story that illustrates the information from our clinician, transforming it all into relatable experiences.  Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and get practical steps they can take in real time. JRA Food Distribution
Sunday, Dec.14 | 9:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
JRA Warehouse

Join this month's distribution and help pack and deliver food for low-income individuals across the Greater Philadelphia area. From 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., join JRA Juniors for ages ten and under to pack boxes and enjoy stories and crafts. Starting at 10:00 a.m., packing for ages ten and older will begin. Medal of Honor Ceremony

Chanukah Movie and Lunch
Thursday, Dec. 18 | 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Shir Ami

Join Shir Ami during the week of Chanukah for a heartwarming movie, lunch and festive fun! They’ll be showing “Hanukkah on Rye,” a charming Hallmark film about two rival deli owners brought together by a matchmaker and the magic of Chanukah. After the movie, stick around for sandwiches, sides and a friendly game of dreidel. Come celebrate the Chanukah season with community, laughter and a little romance on screen! Chanukah in the Borough
Sunday, Dec. 21 | 1-3 p.m.
Temple Judea of Bucks County

Temple Judea will be partnering with Kehillah Hanahar congregation to celebrate Chanukah in downtown Doylestown on Dec. 21. All in the community are welcome to attend. There will be crafts for kids, a DJ,  hot chocolate, donuts and more! To register, click here

Holocaust Survivor Concert 
Tuesday, March 10 | 7 - 8:30 p.m.
Keneseth Israel Synagogue

Commonwealth Youth Choir will host a concert with the Holocaust Awareness Museum to sing to local Holocaust survivors and the audience. After the performance, participants can meet survivors. To register, click here
