Interfaith and Heirlooms: A Community Luncheon

Holocaust Memorial Ceremony for Kids and Families
April 12 | 12-2 p.m.
The Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History
Together, as a united community, we will honor the memory of the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust through a Ceremony and “Walk 6 Million Steps.” Every step we take is a step of remembrance and a commitment to ensure that our story is never forgotten.
Join us for a family and child-friendly ceremony, followed by a walk from The Weitzman to Holocaust Memorial Plaza (1.2 miles), carrying the legacy of those who came before us and standing strong in who we are today. To register, click here.
From Auschwitz to the NBA: A Family's Unlikely Legacy
April 12 | 2-4 p.m.
Congregation Beth El of Bucks County
Take a journey with Dan Grunfeld and learn about his family's unlikely legacy. Grunfeld will speak of his powerful multi-generational story of Holocaust survival, family resilience and an unprecedented basketball legacy. A presentation, refreshments and book signing will take place (books will be available for purchase). The entrance fee is $20 (16 year-old and up), and free for those aged 13 to 16-years-old. Matchmaker, Matchmaker: From Anatevka to Bucks County

Enjoy an accessible text study exploring Jewish sources, both modern and rabbinic, that offer insight into how matchmaking is part of Judaism's fabric. Hear about the changes in Jewish dating trends today and the evolving practice of modern matchmaking. We will end with an ask-the-matchmakers-anything Q&A.
