Donation Station: How to Help Before Community Mitzvah Day

Ready to do some good this Community Mitzvah Day, but can’t wait until Sunday, April 23? No worries, we have got you covered. A number of organizations will be accepting donations in the weeks leading up to the much anticipated day of volunteer opportunities being offered throughout Greater Philadelphia as part of our Israel 75 celebrations

 

Check out the full list below for where and what to donate.

 

The following locations will be accepting donations of canned goods:

Old York Road Temple - Beth Am

Reform Congregation Keneseth Israel (KI)

Beth Israel Congregation of Chester County

Beth Israel Congregation of Chester County requests canned chickpeas, vegetables, corn, diced tomatoes and lentils.

 

The following locations will be accepting donations of non-perishable food items:  

Old York Road Temple - Beth Am

Reform Congregation Keneseth Israel (KI)

Congregation Kol Emet

Congregation Kol Emet requests individually wrapped breakfast items. 

Ohev Shalom of Bucks County

Congregation Beth Or requests individually wrapped breakfast items.

The following locations will be accepting donations of new or gently used adult clothing:

Old York Road Temple - Beth Am

Our Closet in Your Neighborhood Warehouse

Our Closet in Your Neighborhood Warehouse requests school-aged children’s clothing 6x thorough teens.
