From the shofar blast and *tashlich* (casting your sins into flowing water) on Rosh Hashanah to the plaintive chant of “*Kol Nidre*” and the daylong fast that marks Yom Kippur, the High Holidays are packed with high drama. It’s a time of rejoicing, reflection, forgiveness and repentance, all at once — and for most Jews, even those who rarely go to synagogue, it’s the *only* way to kick off the New Year.

No one wants to dip their apples and honey alone. Find a warm and welcoming synagogue or program that opens their High Holiday services to guests for low-cost – or even NO-cost! – by [clicking here](https://jfed.demo.cshp.co/get-involved/high-holiday-open-services/).

Please note that advance registration is required at most of these services, even the free ones, so don’t delay. *L’Shanah Tovah* – wishing you a healthy and happy 5779.
