I'm Rebecca and I'm currently in Ashdod, Israel. On the evening of October 6, I was getting ready for my birthday. I was excited to be with my family, celebrating with them.
When I woke up on October 7, it was the worst nightmare that anybody could have ever imagined.
Everybody has been deeply affected by the horrors that Hamas has unleashed on Israel. Everybody knows somebody who is either mourning a loss, has been murdered, has been kidnapped, or is still missing.
And so I'm asking you to take a moment and to dig deep. The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia has created an emergency campaign where a hundred percent of the donations will go to the people who it the most.
