The holiday season is a wonderful time to give back to your community. While many are busy shopping and spending time with their loved ones, there are numerous local direct service organizations that rely on volunteers to support those in need.
“My family and I have found that volunteering our time helps service organizations make an impact in the lives of others,” said the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia’s Director of Leadership Development and Governance Lori Rubin. “The Jewish Federation is here all year round to serve the community at large and help community members find their own path to get involved, which is crucial during the holiday season. We hope to see you at a program in your neighborhood.”
Check out the following organizations, supported by the Jewish Federation, that need your help this holiday season.
