Beginning his tenure last week as the chairman of the executive of the Jewish Agency for Israel, Isaac Herzog has been seeking to bridge the divide between Jews in Israel and Jews outside of the country by calling for unity and pluralism between the two groups.

The former Zionist Union leader visited Jewish Federations in New York, Boston and Philadelphia, promoting the Jewish Agency’s mission to “inspire Jews throughout the world to connect with their people, heritage, and land, and empower them to build a thriving Jewish future and a strong Israel.”
