At the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, we just spent a full Israel70 year celebrating a milestone birthday for Israel — and now we’re ready to celebrate some more!

For Israel’s 71st Independence Day (Yom Ha’Atzmaut), we have a pop-up treat in store for you. On Thursday, May 9, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., join us at Paine Plaza (JFK Boulevard between Broad and 15th Street), across from City Hall, under the billowing Israeli flag. We’ll have a lunch-hour festival packed with Israeli music, candy, giveaways and much more. This event is free and open to the public, so spread the word to your family and friends using the hashtag #Israel71Philly. See you there!

At the Jewish Federation, we bring Israel to Philadelphia all year long. For more information about our Israel engagement programming, click here.
