On May 28, the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia held its Spring Annual Meeting at Reform Congregation Keneseth Israel in Elkins Park. The evening brought the community together to demonstrate that Greater Philadelphia’s Jewish community stands Here As One.

During the program, Jewish Federation President and CEO Michael Balaban and Board Chair Michael Markman provided a year-to-date review of the Jewish Federation’s accomplishments and its future plans. Keynote speaker Rabbi Mike Uram, author of the bestselling book “Next Generation Judaism,” also inspired audience members on how to move forward through challenge and opportunity.

The evening highlighted MFP’s powerful impact and underscored the vital role of the Jewish Federation’s endowment in fueling and safeguarding its plans to strengthen our community.

Jewish Federation members, those who have donated $180 or more to the Jewish Federation, voted for Fiscal Year 2026’s Board of Directors.

The annual meeting and voting on the Board of Directors is part of the Jewish Federation’s work to implement best- in-class governance as part of its strategic plan.
