The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia is thrilled to have made the City & State Pennsylvania's Philly Power 100 list.  For the second time this year, City and State PA has recognized the Jewish Federation by featuring President and CEO Michael Balaban's leadership in inspiring the organization's efforts to ensure a strong and vibrant Jewish community.

"[At] a moment when nonprofits were reeling from the pandemic, Michael Balaban was hired to bring his fundraising and organizational expertise to the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia," states City & State Pennsylvania

In October, Balaban and the Jewish Federation was also recognized in the City & State Pennsylvania Nonprofit Power 100 list.

Balaban officially began his position on June 1, 2021. Bringing 30 years of experience, Balaban previously served in a number of leadership roles at various Jewish Federations and nonprofits.

"Balaban is known for his successful stints with the Jewish Federations of Broward County, Florida and Atlanta, as well as at Penn Medicine," the article continued.
