On Thursday, November 14th, over 850 attendees from all over the Greater Philadelphia region flocked to the Kimmel Center for the Jewish Federation’s 2019 Main Event. This year’s event highlighted the Jewish Federation’s work in the realm of communal security and combatting anti-Semitism. The program culminated in a passionate keynote address from Bari Weiss, New York Times columnist and author of the new book How to Fight Anti-Semitism, earning a standing ovation. Thanks to ticket revenues and generous sponsorships, the Main Event raised over $950,000 for our Jewish communities.
