The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia is pleased to announce that Danielle Cohen is the new event manager.
Cohen joined the Jewish Federation in 2021 as the marketing coordinator and was then promoted in 2022 to event specialist. As event specialist, Cohen led and supervised events to ensure their success and overall execution.
“What excites me most about this opportunity is that I can not only continue to grow and expand my knowledge in the event space, but also add more to my portfolio at the Jewish Federation,” said Cohen. “I am thrilled at the prospect of taking on more events as the lead event personnel and collaborating with more people across the organization.”
Previously, Cohen worked for UJA-Federation of New York as the project coordinator, providing a strong foundation for the work we do in Greater Philadelphia.
In her new role, she will continue to lead our event planning and execution efforts for the neighborhood Kehillot (communities), Women’s Philanthropy, NextGen, Legacy Philanthropy, Jewish Community Day at Green Valley, as well as other special events that take place throughout the year. She will also take a greater role in strategizing and budgeting the events process and implementing innovative ideas to ensure that the Jewish Federation continues to be a community convener and a world-class philanthropic vehicle to create impact within the Jewish community in Greater Philadelphia, Israel and elsewhere around the world. Additionally, Cohen will serve as the manager and liaison for event vendors.
