The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia is pleased to welcome Lee Rogers as the new Administrative Assistant for the organization’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit Programs (EITC) department.

“I wanted to work for the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia to impact the Jewish community positively and contribute to global humanitarian efforts,” said Rogers. “I also appreciate the opportunity for professional growth, networking, and collaborating with like-minded individuals who share my passion for social justice, and community building. In particular, I look forward to supporting the Jewish Day Schools and enriching students' educational experiences within the community.”

Prior to joining the Jewish Federation, Rogers was a receptionist at the Apple Hostelin Philadelphia, where he was responsible for creating reservations, checking in and out guests, updating customer profiles, taking payments, and returning deposits.

Rogers also worked for the Los Angeles County Fire Department as an accounting technician, where he was responsible for recording transactions, reconciling the ledgers and preparing adjustments. Additionally, Rogers worked as a tech assistant at the Registrar-Recorder County Clerk's office in California, assisting in the preparation and deprocessing of election materials.

Rogers attended the College of Charleston’s Honors College, where he completed his undergraduate degree in political science with minors in African American studies and Latin American and Caribbean studies. He then earned his Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of California.

In his new role, Rogers will support fundraising activities, accounting and finance functions, scholarship eligibility and award processes, volunteer board support, compliance-related activities and communications with schools and donors.
