The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia is pleased to welcome Robert Grabel as the new Major Gift Officer.
“I'm excited about the opportunity to be involved with and support the critical work that the Jewish Federation does in the community,” said Grabel. “It's such an important time for this organization to help the Jewish community both in the Greater Philadelphia area, and of course in Israel.”
Prior to joining the Jewish Federation, Grabel was the development director for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in New York, worked for the National Psoriasis Foundation and created his own nonprofit coaching and consulting organization called Nonprofit Now. Along with his extensive skills and experience, Grabel has a degree in Business Administration, Marketing and Finance from Temple University, and a Master of Science in Urban Policy Analysis Management from the Milano School of International Affairs.
In his role, Grabel will help foster relationships and guide community members to make philanthropic impact through the Jewish Federation to care for those in need, combat antisemitism and strengthen Jewish identity.
“I'm excited to be a part of the team that is working hard to grow our network of financial support so we can reach even more people that can benefit from what the Jewish Federation provides,” Grabel continued. “I'm equally excited to partner with our volunteers to grow our fundraising. The collaboration between staff and volunteer leadership is so important and I look forward to building and maximizing that partnership.”
