In honor of Women’s History Month, now is the time to empower other women!

The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia’s Women of Vision welcomes you into a community of trailblazers who impact the lives of self-identifying Jewish women and girls through educational programs and grantmaking. By becoming a member of Women of Vision, you can help make the world a more equitable place through your philanthropy and through your voice.

Each year, members vote on organizations that are making systemic change for gender equality and representation in Greater Philadelphia and Israel. From funding pro-bono work for domestic abuse survivors to supporting women-owned small businesses to inspiring young women to be confident leaders and changemakers – Women of Vision has awarded more than 2.1 million dollars to innovative programs that are making true social change.

DONATING STOCK 
Giving Women of Vision your appreciated stocks that have been held for more than one year can have many tax and financial benefits.

 CONTRIBUTING CASH ASSETS 
 A gift to the Women of Vision Endowment Fund is combined with others’ donations and invested to generate ongoing support for Jewish women and girls, now and in the future. 

 “What led me to join Women of Vision is the way it brings women together with intention, creating space to learn, listen, and lead alongside one another, grounded in Jewish values. I support the endowment because, in Jewish tradition, we’re taught to invest in what sustains the world over time. The fund helps ensure that women’s progress continues to grow so there is access to opportunity, leadership, and support for generations to come.”

 DONOR ADVISED FUNDS (DAFs) 

A Donor Advised Fund offers a tax-efficient, streamlined way to manage your charitable giving, allowing you to direct support to organizations like Women of Vision on your own timetable.

“An important part of my retirement plan was to lift up women – I joined Women of Vision since its mission clearly aligned with my passion. Contributing through my Donor Advised Fund allows me to control the timing and value of the tax impact while supporting the Jewish community.”

 ISRAEL BONDS  

 An Israel bond is a great investment to support Women of Vision while helping Israel and strengthening its economy.

IRA CHARITABLE ROLLOVER

 An IRA helps you save money for retirement with tax-deferred contributions and tax-free growth. Starting in your 70's, you’re required to take minimum distributions. Instead, you can direct some or all — subject to IRS limits — straight to a charity, such as Women of Vision, which can help reduce your taxable income. 

 “By choosing to increase my commitment to Women of Vision with a distribution from my IRA, I can meet two important goals. I continue to support a fund that profoundly impacts women’s lives, both here and in Israel, while also using my required minimum distribution with pre-tax dollars."

Membership Giving Levels
Your gift at any level provides lifetime membership to Women of Vision.

• LiberatHer (under age 45): $1,800 payable over two years*
• SupportHer (age 45 and over): $3,600 payable over two years
• EntrustHer: $5,000 payable over two years
• SustainHer: $10,000 payable over three years
• MentHer: $18,000 payable over four years
• LeadHer: $25,000 payable over five years
• AmbassadHer: $36,000 payable over five years
• BenefactHer: $50,000 payable over five years
• TrailblazHer: $72,000 payable over five years
• EmpowerHer: Minimum of $100,000, half of which can be made as a planned gift. Includes membership for female relatives.

*Upon reaching age 45, it is encouraged to make a capacity gift
