The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia joined with the Philadelphia Orchestra for a once-in-a-lifetime tour and patron mission that celebrated Israel’s 70th anniversary and reinforced the cultural bonds between Philadelphia and Israel. The June 1-7 trip brought together 140 orchestra performers and staff, along with 60 orchestra patrons and Jewish Federation mission participants, for three superb concert performances and numerous musical residencies, along with sightseeing, cultural events and a visit to the Jewish Federation’s Partnership2Gether region of Netivot. A two-day culinary experience with Philadelphia chef and philanthropist Michael Solomonov capped off the incredible experience. Take a look!
