The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia is pleased to welcome Jonathan Nguyen as the new accounting associate.

In his role, Nguyen will support the Jewish Federation’s Foundation for Jewish Day Schools and its scholarship programs. He will also process donations, track scholarship funding and assist with reports, events and projects that foster Jewish education in Greater Philadelphia.

“I’m excited to join the Jewish Federation because it gives me the opportunity to support the community and contribute to work that makes a real difference,” Nguyen said.

Before joining the Jewish Federation, Nguyen was a fund accountant at UMB Bank, where he supported alternative investment funds, quarterly financial reporting and investor account activity reviews. His work also included handling reconciliations and discrepancy resolution along with spearheading process improvement initiatives.

Nguyen also spent time at Subaru of America as an accounting intern, where he worked on account and general ledger reconciliations, assisted with month-end close, and navigated accounting systems to validate financial data.

Nguyen graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration.
