The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia is pleased to welcome Jim Squadrito as the new assistant director of endowment accounting.
“I’m excited to contribute to the finance team in both a meaningful and thoughtful way, utilizing my previous financial and accounting experience with nonprofit organizations, and to contribute to the Jewish Federation’s mission to enrich the lives of Jewish communities and individuals, locally, in Israel, and elsewhere around the world,” said Squadrito. “This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the continued success of the organization and the significant impact it has on the lives of many.”
Prior to joining the Jewish Federation, Squadrito worked at The University of the Arts (UArts) as the assistant controller. In this role, he assisted with the preparation of quarterly financial statements through detailed analysis. Squadrito also oversaw the university’s annual operating and capital budget to ensure alignment with strategic financial objectives. Previously, he worked as a staff accountant at Widener University, preparing financial statements and analyzing the monthly budgets for the School of Law.
Squadrito holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Masters in Business Administration from Widener University. He is a member of the Eastern Association of College and University Business Officers, the National Association of College and University Business Officers, and the University Risk Management and Insurance Association.
In his new role, Squadrito will work on the accounting for the Jewish Community Foundation and the Foundation for Jewish Day Schools.
