The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia is pleased to welcome Sarah Cohen as the new director of campaign communications and stewardship.

In her role, Cohen will lead strategic campaign communications and donor stewardship initiatives along with supporting community campaign and Super Sunday efforts. She will also work to develop personalized engagement and recognition opportunities in partnership with our marketing, strategy and impact, and fundraising development teams.

Prior to joining the Jewish Federation, Cohen served as Park Avenue Synagogue’s director of membership, leading relationship-centered engagement strategies for over 2,200 households across New York City and the surrounding region.

“I’m thrilled to bring my experience and passion back to Greater Philadelphia,” Cohen said. “As a mother of two young sons, I feel an even deeper connection to the importance of building a strong, vibrant Jewish community for future generations. I’m excited to join an organization that does so much to strengthen Jewish life, foster meaningful connections, and ensures a bright and safe Jewish future.”

Cohen also worked at Jewish National Fund - USA, where she built and managed relationships with donors, lay leaders, speakers and community stakeholders to expand the organization’s reach.

“I’ve always believed that strong relationships are at the heart of a thriving Jewish community,” Cohen stated. “I especially look forward to sharing the stories that bring our mission to life, celebrating the impact of our donors’ generosity and helping people feel deeply connected to the community and causes they support.”

Cohen graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Science in tourism and hospitality management.
