The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia is pleased to announce that Mike Costello is the new Director of Donor Services and Projects.
“One of the things that excite me about this new role is the ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments within the Jewish Federation, while building on the foundational relationships with other community organizations,” Costello said.
In his previous role at the Jewish Federation, Costello was instrumental in working with the Donor Services team to enhance customer care by increasing response time to community members with questions. He also streamlined the Jewish Federation’s acknowledgment system to recognize the generosity of those who support the organization. In addition to his work with the Donor Services team, Costello worked to improve the Jewish Federation’s Mitzvah Food Program (MFP)’s processes and increase services to help those combating food insecurity and poverty.
In his new role, Costello is eager to equip the Donor Services team with powerful analytics tools, enabling them to become a central informational hub for the Jewish Federation. He also looks to build a process to assist MFP clients in achieving self-sufficiency, alongside the expansion of collaborative efforts with neighboring agencies to amplify the program’s impact in the Greater Philadelphia region.
