The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia is pleased to welcome Aly Semigran as the new donor communications manager for the Marketing Department.
Semigran joins the Jewish Federation with more than 20 years of experience in the field of journalism and communications. Throughout her career, she has served as a writer, editor, and contributor at a variety of organizations and outlets, including National Philanthropic Trust, Jefferson Health, NBC Universal, PetSmart, and Billboard.
“I am so honored to join the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia as the donor communications manager,” said Semigran. With a background in communications and social work, I’m passionate about using storytelling to build connections, inspire generosity, and strengthen our incredible community.”
In her most recent role with National Philanthropic Trust, Semigran served as the senior content specialist and was responsible for writing, planning, editing and executing copy pertaining to donor-advised funds.
In her new role at the Jewish Federation, Semigran will be responsible for envisioning, developing, and executing compelling communications that encourage philanthropic support, express appreciation to community members for their generosity, and highlight the organization’s vital impact in Greater Philadelphia, Israel, and around the world.
“At this critical moment, I feel deeply called to be a positive force for good within the Jewish community and to help amplify the Jewish Federation’s meaningful and urgent work,” Semigran explained.
Semigran attended Temple University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a Master of Social Work.
