The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia is pleased to welcome Sara Viniar as the new donor services coordinator for the Jewish Federation’s Finance Department.

“Over the past few years, I have been digging deeper into my Jewish identity. I wanted to find an organization where I had the opportunity to continue to explore that while bringing my years of experience in the nonprofit world to the table,” said Viniar. “When I found the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, I knew it was the fit I was looking for at this moment of my life.”

Prior to joining the Jewish Federation, she worked at the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp’s Hospital Outreach Program, which is dedicated to children with serious illnesses. During the program, she oversaw budgets and coordinated with vendors to ensure the seamless execution of events.

Viniar was also the co-director of leadership in training at the JCC Camps at Medford, where she created curriculum, oversaw planning and collaborated with staff to ensure seamless operations. She adapted activities to suit various age groups, as well as those with diverse needs.

In her new role, Viniar will continue to utilize her background in operations. As a part of the Finance team, she will be responsible for taking phone calls from donors, accepting pledge and payment information, handling gift acknowledgements, updating information in the Jewish Federation’s CRM software and more.

“I’ve always worked with nonprofits,” shared Viniar. “I'm excited to get to work for a Jewish organization and to be a part of the team that keeps everything moving. It's exciting to get to work behind-the-scenes and help the Jewish Federation to grow and flourish.”
