The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia is pleased to welcome Gulienne Rollins as the new education manager for the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC).

In her new role at the Jewish Federation, Rollins will support JCRC and focus on addressing rising antisemitism and building relationships with administrators, educators, and staff at local K-12 schools and university campuses.

“Right now, there is a real problem with bias, and even hate, being promulgated in spaces intended for learning and development,” said Rollins. “It is an honor to be able to focus on finding opportunities for schools to learn about the realities of antisemitism and gain the tools to not only protect their Jewish students and staff, but also create spaces of safety, respect and belonging.”

Prior to joining the Jewish Federation, Rollins worked for Tiny Windows, a consulting agency that assists clients in the Jewish community with strategic planning, program design and creative communications. As a consultant, Rollins designed and facilitated strategic community engagement initiatives and developed and implemented diversity, equity and inclusion strategies to enhance inclusivity within organizational cultures.

“Most of my career has revolved around Jewish institutional life and the Jewish nonprofit world,” said Rollins. “It feels like coming home to be back in Legacy Jewish communal work with the responsibility of building a robust network of connections between our Jewish Community Relations Council, K-12 students, and school districts in our service region."

Rollins also worked as a racial justice specialist for United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism in New York. In that role, she was responsible for leading diversity, equity and inclusion and racial justice initiatives to promote welcoming and accessibility throughout Conservative Jewish synagogues. Additionally, she worked to develop educational resources while facilitating workshops to enhance awareness and engagement.

Rollins holds a bachelor's degree in communications and in African & African Diaspora studies from Boston College.
