The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia is excited to welcome Lannie Hulnick as the new director of Women's Philanthropy.

"As the director of Women’s Philanthropy at the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, I look forward to engaging with smart, motivated and committed women who are passionate about making a difference in the Jewish community both locally and overseas," said Hulnick. "As a proud Zionist, I am especially excited about the opportunity to support Israel and deepen the connection between our Greater Philadelphia community and our Jewish homeland. Through philanthropy and engagement, we have the power to create meaningful impact and ensure a vibrant Jewish future."

Previously, Hulnick was the executive director for Kesher Israel. Prior to that, she was the senior Kehillah coordinator (2004-2009) at the Jewish Federation. Hulnick holds a Master’s degree in Jewish Communal Service from Gratz College. She also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religious Studies with a minor in sociology from the University of Calgary.

For Hulnick, the work of Women's Philanthropy goes beyond a job — it is personal for her.

"I am drawn to Women’s Philanthropy because of the incredible power of women to create change.  The ability to inspire and connect with others through philanthropy is very exciting to me," Hulnick continued. "As a mother, I see this as an opportunity to be a role model for my daughter — showing her the importance of generosity, leadership, and the strength of women working together to build a better future for our community."

Hulnick officially began her role on March 3.
