The Southern soul food favorite chicken-and-waffles gets the full Middle Eastern treatment with this imaginative take from Abington-born celebrity kosher chef Jamie Geller, publisher of JOYofKOSHER.com. In this version, crispy deep-fried chicken is drizzled with tahini, sprinkled with the Middle Eastern spice za’atar — and sits atop a “falafel” waffle made of chickpea batter. Did somebody say “brunch?” For the recipe, [click here.](https://www.joyofkosher.com/recipes/zaatar-fried-chicken-and-falafel-waffles/) *B’te-avon* (bon appétit)!
