Playdate for EveryBODY

BGS Wine and Whiskey
July 13, 2023 | 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Har Jehuda Cemetery Cleanup
July 16, 2023 | 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Har Jehuda Cemetery

Honor those at rest by cleaning up Har Jehuda, a local historic, Jewish cemetery. Volunteer tasks include raking, picking up trash and clipping overgrown vines. The cleanup will end with a memorial service to honor all of those buried. To register, click here

 

Nature Theater
July 19, 2023 : 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Outdoor location in Penn Valley, PA

Join a fast-paced and interactive nature experience with Delaware County Kehillah and jkidphilly! Participants will learn to play in nature with special guest Mike Weilbacher, “Wild Philly” author, educator and regular WXPN Kids Corner guest. Mike will lead families in a participatory environmental theater activity set in a beautiful nature playspace. Families are welcome to bring a picnic dinner to enjoy outdoors. Shabbat in the Park

Join Delaware County Kehillah, J on the Way and community partners for the Shabbat in the Park series! Once a month, families are invited to gather at a different local park around the community to join together in celebration of Shabbat with music, crafts, activities, sweet treats and more. Sparking Connections Information Session

If you are 45 or under, identify as Jewish and LGBTQ+ and are looking to connect with others on a deeper level – while learning more about specialized topics through an Israel lens – the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia has a program for you! Sparking Connections Near and Far is a yearlong program, beginning in September, that brings people together to learn more about diversity and inclusion topics through an Israel lens and which offers an immersive travel opportunity to Israel. 10th Annual Chester County Summer Shorts Film Festival

Chester County’s annual festival celebrates the richness, complexity and diversity of Jewish experiences through film. The festival is dedicated to screening Jewish short films and videos in all genres. Every short film is intended to engage, educate, and inspire the community as we explore the full spectrum of Jewish life, values, and culture. This year, all film narratives have a central Israeli connection in celebration of Israel’s 75th anniversary. To register, click here
