Located along the border with Gaza, residents regularly experience rocket attacks. Large numbers of its citizens, particularly children, suffer with PTSD, and many have had their homes, schools, or workplaces damaged or destroyed. As a result, the community has developed a powerful resilience that helps them not only survive but thrive. Members of our professional team reached out to us with some tips on managing difficult emotions when life feels catastrophic.   ***Each year, over 350 Philadelphians visit our partnership region of Netivot and Sdot-Negev.
