Women’s Philanthropy is thrilled to announce Tracy Gordon as our new Chair-Elect!
Tracy will be installed as Chair-Elect of Women’s Philanthropy at the Closing Board Meeting on May 26, 2021, and become Chair of Women’s Philanthropy in May 2022 when Julie Savitch completes her term.
Tracy has been a devoted lay leader in the Philadelphia Jewish community for the past 25 years. At the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, Tracy has served in many roles including Co-Chair of the Committee for Jewish Life and Learning, Member of the Campaign Team and Member of the Board of Trustees. Within Women’s Philanthropy, Tracy has served as Campaign Chair, Co-Chair of WLDP, Member and Vice Chair of the Women's Philanthropy Board, and has chaired several events.
Tracy is passionate about Jewish education and has served as Co-President of the Parent Teacher Organizations at The Forman Center of Perelman Jewish Day School, Saligman Middle School and Barrack Hebrew Academy, where she currently sits on the Governance and Nominating Committee and Barrack Builders Committee. Tracy is a member of the Board of Directors of Philly Friendship Circle and has served on the Board of Perelman Jewish Day School and of Temple Sinai. Tracy is a Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and holds a master’s degree in Jewish Education. Tracy and her husband George have four children, Rachel, Sarah, Jake and Eli, and one granddaughter, Layla.
