As I come to the end of my term as chair, I am filled with gratitude and pride as we culminate these remarkable and emotional two years together. Serving as chair has been an absolute honor, especially during a time that has tested our resolve and highlighted the strength of our community.
Since Oct. 7, when our world changed, we have faced extraordinary challenges. The Israeli war brought sorrow and uncertainty, but it also ignited a flame of compassion, resilience and unwavering solidarity within us. It was in this time of adversity that we, as Jewish women dedicated to philanthropy, found our true purpose. We learned that it is up to us to make a better world for our children and grandchildren.
As Women of Vision members, we create long-lasting change for self-identifying Jewish women and girls, and we continue to build a stronger, more inclusive, and equitable world through our advocacy and educational programs. I’m so proud of the work that we do together.
Today, we stand strong with over 600 members, our Endowment Fund stands at over $5 million, and we continue to grow in our membership and impact.
I am so happy to report that Women of Vision will travel to Israel this fall where we will have a unique opportunity to connect with those who directly benefit from our grants. I hope you will join me in this meaningful mission!
As I step down from my position, I want to thank our Executive Board and amazing committee chairs and members. Your commitment has been nothing short of inspiring.
I know our new leadership, under Chair Elect Cindy Warkow, will carry our vision forward, and we will continue to grow, evolve, and respond to the needs of our community with the same passion and dedication that has defined our organization the past 31 years.
