Women's Philanthropy Winter Mitzvah at Jewish Relief Agency 
Jan. 16 | 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Jewish Relief Agency Warehouse

Participate in a volunteer day at Jewish Relief Agency (JRA), which helps nourish more than 6,000 diverse low-income individuals across Greater Philadelphia. Opportunities include packing kosher food boxes at JRA’s Food Distribution warehouse and delivering them to a nearby Federation Housing, which provides affordable, dignified housing for low- and moderate-income seniors. As part of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, Women’s Philanthropy is proud to support both JRA and Federation Housing through funding and partnership. Please note: The delivery option involves unloading and carrying boxes into the lobby before bringing them to each recipient’s door. To register, click here.

Join the Jewish Federation's Jewish Community Relations Council and Challah & Soul for a film screening and panel discussion of "From Swastika to Jim Crow," a documentary that explores the little-known story of Jewish refugee scholars teaching at historically black colleges before and during the Second World War.
